I did wonder whether we might have another go for him, or another "big unit" type of striker to have a better target for longer balls and to act as a hold up man.

Clearly not getting him though....

Mandron at Gills is the one I'd like as a Plan B. Doesn't score that many but has a lot of the attributes to "mix things up" and thought he was excellent against us. Not sure how long his deal there is but has to be a fair chance they only took him on a year's contract — worth a sniff.
