I have never heard of Earl 11:25 - Jan 13 with 3525 views | Bluefish | But reading the story it implies that Bolton chose to send him back so that they could replace him with Toto. This seems an odd merry go round

I have never heard of Earl on 11:29 - Jan 13 with 3437 views | Pinewoodblue | Bolton are rumoured to be after a Left sided Burnley defender, the guy Joe Barton sent back as he had crossed a redline. Good signing, guess he is out of contract end of season, but only if Woolfie stays.

To be fair Phil, the Lanchashire Post seem to be very much along your line of Bolton chosing not to take him back. But they to add some context, he looks as though he damaged his ACL ligaments on his debut and didn't return until October, probably more reason they didn't want to take him back. Just scanned your post so didn't see that was added. https://www.lep.co.uk/sport/football/preston-north-end/pne-news/preston-north-en [Post edited 13 Jan 2020 13:32]

I have never heard of Earl on 11:58 - Jan 13 with 3162 views | fabian_illness | I read over the weekend that Bolton have a £2000 wage cap in place, I know he’s a loan, but maybe it didn’t fit in with their budget constraints. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I have never heard of Earl on 12:40 - Jan 13 with 2922 views | pablovian | Wow, a 6' 4" player who used to be a specialist left back ... who has already appeared in 33 games in the Championship ... did he play against us during either of the last two seasons? This looks like the central component of a three-way deal between Preston, Town and Bolton, the recent loan of Toto to Bolton being another element. Potentially another astute piece of business by Lambert, meeting several needs, and opening up interesting options.

I have never claimed to know a great deal about other teams players, I am just exceptionally talented at analysing our players. It is a wonderful gift.

... and that’s the problem I’ve got with this. Why, yet again, develop another teams youngster? Thought we’d done away with these inexperienced loans.
