True. They signed a player from the National League last week in a deal worth up to £1m. Not sure if they're similar players or not, however.

Jack Taylor from Barnet. £500k up front with another £500k in add-ons.

Midfielder with 8 in 24 for Barnet so far this season would suggest he's probably a fairly direct replacement for Maddison.

This is true. Sheikh Mansours cousin. All seemed a bit murky tbh, like they're just another football club that's become a state owned asset of the UAE.
