With a caveat being that none of us (I would wager) have yet seen Earl play, that would be my first choice XI... possibly with Nolan or Bishop instead of Judge.

Yep agree with Bishop/Judge, but Nolan wouldn't get near the first 11 for me

I'd swap Keane for one of the strikers.

He's been one of our best players this season imho.

That is the same side that I posted in September as our strongest side except Skuse for Earl and moving Woolf over

If we ignore the penalty for a moment (and it was stupid) then one of the reasons we had a base to play from the back was Wilson's no nonsense defending. Worth keeping that in mind for some games.

I don't think that's right.

He's consistent but his play is not what is required. He takes the ball and either passes it straight back in the same direction or backwards. He slows us down and offers very little going forward.

He's miles away from Huws even at this stage of his comeback.

I've been less impressed with Wilson in recent weeks. He was excellent earlier in the season, before signing his new contract. But less so since November...

He wasn't excellent at all I have no idea why people were saying that. He has always been limited cheap cover
