Sold for over 20 million, but imagine where we'd be had we kept them. Likely to have made it into the Prem at least once imo. Thereby easily surpassing 60 million in income. So many poor short term decisions at ITFC vy the powers that be over the years. |  |

I've been watching us since the 70's, we've always been a selling club, probably always will be unless some oligarch buys us.

If you think we would still have the likes of Cresswell, Ming's & Wickham even if we hadn't of sold them when we did you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
There is a little thing called the Bosman ruling. If ME kept turning down offers from PL clubs for these players, they would have refused to sign new contracts & let their current contract run down. Meaning they would have left on a free & the club would have got nothing. [Post edited 18 Jan 2020 20:01]
