Is this how the Stasi worked.... on 17:41 - Jan 19 with 627 views | hampstead_blue | There was a piece a while back on R4 about Extinction Rebellion. It was said that at their core are hard core anarchists and left wing groups. The polite people on the marches are a nice gentle face. If that is true then they ought to be looked into.
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Most groups will already be 'infiltrated'. And most 'anti establishment' groups will attract those who see violent action as a justifiable act. That has been how it is back to the days of the gunpowdwe plot and well before I should imagine. Unfortunateluy for Daily Mailers it is not these naughty leftists who are murdering MPs, planting bombs or planning terrorist attacks. But they do regularly appear at demos with their faces covered.....which is a benefit, for both sides.
