My friend used to run The County of Suffolk pub. Let's just say it went a bit potty in there and they eventually took away her license and it closed down.
It used to have those 3D letters on the front rather than a painted sign and I was driving past soon after it closed and someone had removed the O and the Y.
It took a couple of weeks before the council acted upon this. |  |

When we lost to Notts County in the League Cup (2003ish) the sign on the below picture had had the O and the Y removed as well - fairly high profile!
