Interesting aren't they? Several of those within a 10 minute walk from me, two I've actually walked past this morning.

I'm on the Gentle Author's mailing list and the volume of stuff he puts out is amazing considering most of it is interesting and well thought out.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

"Young passing-throughs" could have been something straight out of Bloo's mouth.

What's the odds that the person who said that now lives in Essex/the Home Counties somewhere?

Boomers send capitalism into an aggressive free-for-all where nothing is sacred, expand businesses nationally so chains dictate the High Street, close the doors to the property ladder so only those with a portfolio and the aim to buy to let at extortionate rates can own a home but then blame Millennials that things aren’t as good as the olden days.

My favourite one on Facebook is the boomer getting the arse about a young person asking them to recycle and pointing out that 'back in my day we did all this' whilst also forgetting that it was their generation which ushered in and actively embraced the whole 'throwaway' culture'.
