The trouble is once you latch onto it, its all I can hear. I almost forget the point he's making as Im just counting the you knows.
Someone once pointed out to me that you can tell the degree of poshness of a Radio 4 guest or presenter by the frequency of the unnecessary 'you knows'. Makes the station pretty much unlistenable after you've heard that and thought about it for a bit.
Not saying Mick Mills is posh of course, he probably just picked it up off of Woman's Hour or something.

I think it would have to have been 'Old Woman's Hour'.
