How have we fallen so far and produced such utter sh1t so quickly? The day Hurst waked in it began, but how can we remain so gutless and disorganised for so long?

Lambert clearly hasn't got the tactical acumen of previous managers, but he's operating at a much lower standard with a much bigger budget. If he doesn't turn this around after an already disastrous 2 month period, he may well overtake Hurst at the bottom of the pile.

4 and bit more years of this is untenable. How is it he can't make these players believe in themselves or change a game every so often to secure points?

My guess is that it's because he's not a very good football manager.

The rot is deep. We were top of the table and put in those 2 performances. Chokers, gutless, fragile, call it what you like, but we're playoff hopefuls at best now.

TWTD CP. Evans Out.

It began a long time before Hurst.

Have we been as bad today as we were against Rotherham?

Evans' lack of ambition must filter down to the players, they know he won't (or can't) get the chequebook out to replace them so everyone just puts in the minimum effort to look vaguely competitive.

Evans is how we have fallen so far. He has let the club rot.

There seems to be a streak that runs through us this season that was a constant last. How people remain happy with this season, or last is mystifying. "We've got our club back" indeed.

Ipswich have never been like this before.

...because Admiral Lambert would have seen half the flotilla sink and people would have declared it a success because the rest of the boats had slightly better paint jobs?

Game started at 21k, it’s amazing what a sniff of being near the top of the table does but what did it end at? 12k? That’s what we’ll get next season thanks to this shambles.

And as we haven't won against any of the top 8 yet, that's not an encouraging thought.

Maybe the problem is compacency.....all the gutless players at the club know they will be picking up money till the end of the season now...and would probably be just as happy sitting on the bench or in the stands rather than playing
