At the time, after McCarthy left, I was all for getting George or Jim back, or both. Could it have gone any worse? People say Ah but football has changed & they've been left behind. Some also could say Football is really a simple game if you get the basics right. Well I would say the object of the game is to score goals, more than your opposition, get a team playing in a cohesive manner with a good shape. The man we should have got when Mick was sacked was Mowbray, proven record at championship level and has loves the club seemed a no brainer to me.
