Just proves how tactically inept Lambert is.

In fairness, some on Skuse's corners were better than ones we've seen all season.

It's just the way he drifts in Free Kicks and Corners with no pace and no purpose.

2 or 3 times last night the Wimbledon keeper came out and claimed the ball comfortably.

Doesn't that perhaps say something about our players in the box? Just saying.

Poll: Lambert goes, would you prefer an ex-Town connection replacement or not?

Not really when the ball is floated straight into the keepers hands.

Posts like this are why the phrase "tactically inept" has become utterly meaningless.

I'd like to think they'd work on that in training and see who delivers the best ball from set pieces from whose available. That's what most professional clubs do, instead of rocking up on the night and appointing someone.

The in-swinging corners weren't too bad, as he got a bit of whip on them.

But from the other side, the floated (probably meant to be drilled) balls were woeful. As a left-footer surely Huws would have been more valuable.

Who else from yesterday's eleven would you have have had taking them? There was only Huws and I'm not sure his set pieces are much better.

You need whip and dip. A floaty effort is the easiest thing in the world to deal with. That's why so many corners for may teams fail to beat the first man as they're not the easiest to deliver.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Out of most things that went wrong last night, I think Skuse on set pieces was the least.

Thought he did ok to be fair to him, but 5 at the back with Skuse is very negative.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?
