From what i've read so far, if they appeal to CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) there are potentially worse things to come that would make them vulnerable to Premier League sanctions. |  |

Regardless of whether this will get overturned the length of the ban (and the fact it is a ban) shows UEFA are prepared to take this sort of thing seriously. Good for them. Hope the EFL can follow suit. |  |

I would imagine it will get overturned, but it took Chelsea about 10 months to get the transfer ban overturned so by the same logic they will at least miss next season's UCL. |  | | |

Think you’re being far too hopeful, UEFA only investigated this after the leaks via der spiegel, so were forced to investigate it. They seemed to have the information, they just didn’t look into it until the leaks (breaches from inflated sponsorship deals between 2012-2016, why wait until 2018 to investigate?) they ignored the calls for investigation from La Luga president Tebas prior to that. |  | | |
