Probably about right overall. But he's even been one of our better players over the past weeks.
Must admit he's a completely different player as an RWB (and maybe as a wide attacker) compared with him as a traditional wide midfielder. All seems to be a question of whether he has space ahead of him to run into. In tight situations and when his back is to goal he looks lost and a bit of a liability. That trick he did in his first game when he backed into the defender and flicked the ball past to run onto was the falsest of false dawns. It cruelly suggested that we'd solved our long-term winger problem. Fingers crossed that will be Lankester. |  |
