And no I’m not on trial.

Me and my friend just thought it would be interesting to go and watch a murder case proceedings.

Not really sure what to expect. I know we can’t take phones in and I know I wanna make a few notes when we’re in there (she wants to make some sketches) but asides from that, we’re going in relatively blind. We know which case we want to go to as well (all available online to see which ones are on which courts and at which times).

Should be fun. Something different ain’t it.

I don’t know why but I’ve always found this a bit odd.

Why on earth would you want to go to court for a trial which has nothing to do with you?

Each to their own I guess.

I’ve always wanted to do that tbh How do you go about doing it?

I did jury service once and that was interesting, enjoyed it.

I can understand that to be fair.

We just thought it would be a fun day out in London. Something new innit.

Literally just turn up for the case you want to watch. Maximum 20 people per case though so it’s feasible that there won’t be any spaces left for that case.

No phones or drinks (even water) allowed in the building at all though which is a little annoying.

"(she wants to make some sketches)"

You are going to London for a day with a bird and sitting in a court room?

You could go on the lash and make a move Rommy!

You're wasting your life.

He may be wasting his life. But this isn't it. It's the watching Ipswich bit that needs to be sorted out.

I was a witness for the CPS in a murder trial at the OB many moons ago, and the only "fun" bit was being ripped a new one by the defence barrister. Well, it may have been "fun" for people like your good self sitting in the stands :)

I don't think it's odd. I think it would be fascinating to watch the legal process in action.
