Where someone like Tyreece Simpson gets thrown on the bench, comes on and catches fire or where Sears gets a run of games and suddenly bangs in the goals.

Most young players get their opportunities at times like this, maybe something will happen and a Ben Morris or Dobra will catch fire
We can only hope.
I'm sure they'd be deemed good enough at other clubs in and around us. They have not had opportunities because of the size of the squad but when other players are not doing it they should all have had a chance by now.
Dobra not even being on the bench currently is madness.

Certainly possible but also forces PL's arm to view Freddie Sears as a central striker or at least to perhaps play him a system which uses him in a wide role. Obviously fitness will play a significant part on how well he does but if anywhere near his best I'd prefer FS as a starter to KJ.

What's the latest with Lankaster Phil, still out or is he back training?

Spoke to one of the youth lads about 2 months ago, said he's struggled with it even as youngster?
The step up was so much for him to mens football?
Possibly best left to start of next season?
Back injuries like this normally happen with growth spurts when under heavy workloads
I don't think he's had problems with it in senior academy years (Bishop is one that did) but can't be sure - unless we need him I'd be leaving until next season personally to get it right.
But we did that last year and it broke again in pre season...
