On the video, all the celebrations at the equaliser were low-key enough to be non-exsistent. Even Freddie’s finish looked like a scuff as though he hoped he would miss.

Definitely not the case, think you are reaching here. Not sure how you can say it was a scuff and the vast majority of the players came over to congratulate him in the corner. Snapped a few photos for my son at this time and he's surrounded by the midfielders and Keane and Chambers and Earl are jogging over. Are they not playing for him, not sure, but the reaction to the goal was not evidence of that in my opinion.
