We train on corners (defending & attacking) every day too surely?
My mate & i always jokingly say "Defender on the front post get ready" whenever we get a corner yet invariably, that's where it ends up.
Also, I know it's the fashionable thing to get everyone back when defending corners but surely there's a caveat that say when you're losing a game, then leave 1 (or 2) up top and get the opposition thinking.

In fairness to him, that's what dogs abuse coming from the North Stand is likely to do to a player, especially one who hasn't played for a while. The players knew the crowd was on edge from the first whistle, and you could tell.
Can't work out if I agree with JD's inclusion or not. He is at least a defender and Edwards was costing us goals almost every week at wing back, but we desperately needed some positivity that he might have brought us. |  |
