Don't understood it either. Why would anybody clap that performance. Yes, it was a bit better than Blackpool, but not by much. Just walk out at the whistle. total silence would hurt them more. |

I just wanted to clear up to Sitters that I wasn't having a pop at him. I wanted to point out that I personally didn't think there were vast swathes of the fanbase who were lapping this up. Whether you did or didn't go, what does our fans clapping players at the end mean?
You seem to think unless you boo, shout, etc that you're happy with what's happening. Most people aren't but can still clap the team in support. Maybe they think it demoralises the squad further? Maybe there are other opinions than yours that are acceptable? Stranger things have happened. | |

I clapped today as I thought the performance was reasonable up to the final third, which is hardly surprising considering we're missing our three first choice strikers, instead relying on someone coming back from a long injury run off and young players.
I thought the booing was dispropotinate to the performance. If there had been no booing I would have probably stood watching on in silence but, in this case it was unnecessary.
Does this mean I think Lambert should be given another go? No, his time is up. Does this mean I think Evans has done everything right? Of course not, he is burying the club. After Tuesday's performance I fully understood it but today?
Everyone's welcome to their own opinion but everyone on here (otyher than the Budgie WUMs) want what's best of the club. The fan base turning on each other is pointless. | |
