We want him gone, and all this about he has to go. Who has a solution?? Where is a buyer going to come from, that wants a business 90m in debt to its owner and loses on average 5m a season before a ball is kicked. Has supporters who then demand further investment on top. Also many who are unrealistic about the size of the club, even if we get 25k a week that would only put us mid championship, yet many believe we are a big club and have a divine right to be prem.

Evans has reportedly had offers for the club in the past but rejected them.

Even Evans knows he is not going to get all of his money back from the club but the problem is he seems to be clinging to the hope he will get something. Supposedly he was looking for £25 million a couple of years ago which if true shows the level of delusion our owner has. He’s going to have to give the club away in effect to shift it and write off the debt. Having said that he would, if you believe it happens anyway, save himself £6 million a year from the moment he lets it go so it would benefit him in that way.

A new owner may or may not be better than Evans but the alternative, the continuation of his inept ownership leading to even further decline in this once great club, will finish us off eventually anyway. Word is the Academy is being prepared for massive cuts should we not be promoted, which we are obviously not going to be, and we are sure to sell our better players because that is how Evans operates. It didn’t work in the Championship and it’s not going to work in League 1, relegation is a more realistic possibility for next season than anything else if this continues.

Obviously it’s down to Evans whether he sells or not but some encouragement to do so from an increasingly disillusioned fan base might concentrate his mind a bit!
