Reasons to be optimistic 17:59 - Mar 10 with 2742 viewssaffers12

Want to start a thread in terms of what may a light at the end of the tunnel for next season

Lankaster coming back and likely to play
KVY hopefully full season - these 2 down the right could a real force
Dobra but less likely to play
New manager who develops a system - certainly not guaranteed-but hopeful
Fully fit Sears

Anyone think of anything else? All positive points welcomed

Good point ... we must surely have learned our lesson

Also think we service, for example Lankaster that Jackson can score more in this league (if here)

We can start looking forward to thinking we're too good for League 2?

Also think maybe new manager would be a bit more astute, for example if Woolf goes to Sheff Utd, then we can get a couple of good loans in from there as an example.

The Wickham story was a real insult to the fans (if true)

Plenty to be positive about for next season, we still have a chance of making the playoffs this season, but say we remain in league 1, the return of injured players, even nydam will be back in contention, weve been unlucky this season with injuries, the players will know more what to expect, its been a new experience for most of them and its not really a league for fancy football. We are much better than we have showed this season so i look forward to a fresh start next season if we dont make it first time of asking. Just lets support the boys, ❤

Haven’t we been saying that for the past few seasons??

Things can get better from the mire of League one. Sheffield United, PNE and Millwall, for instance, are all doing quite nicely at the moment.

We’ve got potentially a good crop of youngsters around the first team, excluding Woolfenden and Downes. Personally, I want to see them playing more regularly next season.

Nydam has got a great opportunity on that left side, it’s crying out for him to grab it with both hands next season.

I know 97.2% of your posts are pure cynicism, but there’s a really risk that’s where we’re heading if we carry on like this.

The thing that worries me about Lankaster is, is he going to be the next Bishop. Look great and then get injured and come back and be a shadow of himself.

Huw’s maybe. Bish’ll pick up another injury.

Keane's contract is up in the Summer, can't see that he's done enough to earn another.
