I think the huge issue surrounding Covid-19 is surely no one knows how many people are asymptomatic? Firstly because it means they're carrying/spreading the virus without being aware and secondly because it'd decrease the overall death rate. |  |

I don't think anyone ever claimed it was quick. It needs to be processed in a lab so it's 2+ days to get the results.
They need a quicker test, that's well known but easier said than done.
