If theres mass destitution caused by a sh1tty economy, there'll be mass deaths caused by that destitution too.

So in relation to this virus you think there is significant variance between here and Ireland? [Post edited 12 Mar 2020 20:32]

Dont get me wrong, i'd rather we shut everything down and did it weeks ago, but i'm not an expert. [Post edited 12 Mar 2020 20:18]

Yep...fair point as of this evening...must keep up!.Hopefully the damage has not already been done and kids will exhibit symptoms....however the latest thinking is that the virus transmits most before symptoms develop. It is almost like a lot about this virus and the response to it doesn't add up.....but the illuminati or something else in Badger's imagination!

I have no idea- anymore than you do. I am aware that there are many factors, and that scientific judgments will vary. You, on the other hand, are look for conspiracy.

Bizarre! Any evidence for this other than the interpretations of your all too human brain? What conspiracy is it that you imagine I am angling towards? [Post edited 12 Mar 2020 21:27]

So scientifically there is no gain in shutting schools / cancelling events ... on 19:59 - Mar 12 by giant_stow | Broadly and when its safe to look back, i'm chatting about how many died, how society continued to function and how the economy handled events. I get that we'll never really know how many people got ill due to testing constraints and the ill not necessarily ever going near healthcare. We do seem to be going out alone on this schools policy in particular. Ballsey stuff. I hope they're right. |
One thing that would be really interesting to see would be the ages of the people who have died and whether the actual death rates for any said country have increased due to the virus. I guess effectively what I’m saying is would the people who have died from this virus so far have died within a similar timeframe anyway but it would have been down to something else such as winter flu or another infection/virus? I guess we’ll never really know
