Basically my car has been on two long distance journeys within the last week, when arriving at the place twice my car hasn't allowed me to change into any gear, the only way to get it back into changing gears is by pushing the clutch down fully and pulling it up slowly and firm.
it seems fine on short journeys, i've just had the car clutch bled inbetween the breakdowns as the garage said it sorted the issue. [Post edited 15 Mar 2020 20:02]

So the only obvious difference between short and long journeys would be heat?
Master cylinder maybe?

Petrol or diesel? By stuttering when cold, do you mean the revs drop off?
What is the service history?
Have you had the clutch changed? Gearbox oil changes?

Being a Fiesta, check the gear linkage. Plastic/rubber bushes dry out on the spindle and expand when hot giving a stiff gear change.
You just need an 8mm socket, some copper grease and a wire brush. It’s ok the passengers side.
