WTF is the matter with British people? 20:10 - Mar 21 with 3283 viewsnoggin

I've just seen the videos of people fighting to get into shops and rows of empty shelves. Why can other nation's people behave themselves and shop sensibly, yet Brits have to shame themselves? Reminds me of England fans at football tournaments.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

I did see a French MP on the BBC earlier condemning those people in France who have been breaking into emergency vehicles and pinching face masks which is adding to the country's shortage of face masks.

............or a certain number of society being arrogant, thick as pig sh1t, or both.

I suppose we are more fortunate though Bankster, as at least can spend our working week in splendid isolation.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Great generalisation.

Lots of positive stories out there about how brits are handling this if you look for them.

But that's like saying, "Yes England fans smashed up (insert European city) but a lot of people behaved themselves.
I'm wondering why so many Brits can't behave themselves. There is a complete lack of respect for others.

I don't think it's a British problem; I think it's a human problem.

I think there have been problems with people behaving like tvvats everywhere.

They’ve been holding ‘corona street parties’ in Berlin apparently.

The message just isn’t getting through and, by the time it does, it will be too late.

Seems to be everywhere, posted a thread about my experiences in Ipswich Town centre earlier, was pretty horrific, basically the Town has been taken over by youths who think the whole thing is a joke, coughing in peoples faces, calling it a hoax, acting like idiots.

These kind of people make me want a full domestic lockdown.

Did you see the Bondi Beach piece on BBC website? There were thousands packed on it a couple of days ago despite the ban on crowds over 500. The police have shut it off now and all the locals got a public telling off 😂

I shall. Thanks for the advice. However, my elderly mother is in the UK and I’d like to think she’ll be able to get the groceries she needs.

i think we have disproportionate number of c**ts in our society, i really do.

Situations like this always show up people for what they are and while all countries have the same kind of individuals we do seem to excel in this kind of anti-social behaviour and the football hooligan element is another such example.

Being British has been an embarrassment for the last 4-5 years!

….the Mother in law asked me to get her 2 tins of split green lentils.

I got her a bag of frozen peas.

Simple.

So if I want loo roll, I buy tobacco and do a bit of weaving, that kind of thing?

Want sweetcorn? Buy some gastro tablets.

I think the availability must be a bit different where you are to my experiences this past week.

Myth. Other nations are just as bad as ours (if not worse).
