Oh....

I'm going to go for a 5km walk at lunchtime or early afternoon but that's basically it. Stay safe all.

Going in to put business on lockdown then the Mrs has a list of around the house inc painting all rooms and stripping wallpaper. I’d rather be at work tbh.

Crazy isn’t it.

Only been 1 day so far & already feel overwhelmed with it all. Missus only works 22.5 hours so hoping she will do bulk of her hours in the morning & then the rest whilst I’m on lunch but she’s getting a bit of kick back from her work saying she needs to do at least one full day which is annoying.

Wfh.

Technically a key worker but luckily easily able to wfh.

From today I'm going to try and squeeze in a lunchtime run though. Missing my walk to work and weekly football and badminton and need to do something to keep in shape!

We were planning on nursery still, but think Mrs is going to call in and explain my situation today and have today off, she already has tomorrow as holiday and by Friday (doesn’t work Thurs) things should have settled down enough to not be working and being a stay at home Dad, which sounds like a nightmare as it is......!

I'm fortunate enough to be able to work from home even in normal times so will just carry on working from home. I'll go for a decent walk later to get some air and some exercise.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

The government amended their rules for the lockdown to include moving children under the age of 18 between their parents homes.

So I am going to actually get to spend some time at home with Seb!

I've got a nice 5k walk to include a couple of hills that I've done the last two working days, circa 8k steps, spotify on the headphones and takes around an hour. Perfect for lunchtime.

Can't just sit around peeps..

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Stupidly, I have come in to work this morning to sort out some last bits, from I will then be working from home for the foreseeable future.

Will try go out for a walk/run later if I can be arsed.

This is very sensible, especially if both homes have been isolated and not seen anyone else - it's no different to people living in the same household.

Walked the dog round the block at 8am, work from home all day, then go for a 5k run around 6-ish.

We started the Back To The Future trilogy last night, so we're on to the second one tonight. (Kids haven't seen them).

The Tube ride in was hell, so think I'll go for a quick coffee and a Danish before hitting the office.

Not WFH then

Good luck with that. My youngest is 9 now so we can leave her to get on with school work for an hour or so at a time. The older one’s more trouble as he’s browsing YouTube or playing games every 5 mins if we don’t keep an eye on him.

I'm going for a bike ride this morning then spending the afternoon planting new asparagus crowns (grown from seed last year), all whilst trying to figure out how I'm meant to live on about £120 a week for god knows how long...self employed cricket coach, who earns 90% of income between March and October! Will put a shift in working from home until around 5ish, then as it's a nice day in London will go out for a run.

Hopefully around 8 miles or so, I'll see how far I can get before the police bring me down. I generally look so knackered while running they won't believe it's my first run of the day.

I WFH anyway so no difference to me, other than I have to walk the dog at the moment. Did have a dog walker as I like her to get socialised with lots of other dogs but that's not possible now.

Need to find a better walk as it was too short this morning.

Writing. Did two pages yesterday, in between emails from work and fags in the garden. The birds have perked up now I seem to be permanently home. Might try taming my robin a bit more. He now comes in if the door's open and I lay crushed digestives on my mat.

Other than that, I've got "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "A Field in England", "Doctor Sleep", "Midway" and "Brief Encounter" which came from Amazon last week to watch. I'm also having a walk on the Naze at Walton this afternoon.
