What is the rules nowadays then.
He definitely had 1 foot over the half way line. Is that offside?

No one knows the rules anymore but they would draw lines and rule it out because his body is more advanced than the defender.

The goals on the game were all top quality including the og and the pens and moggas header always gets better each time I see it

Yeah I think you are right. VAR would have ruled it out.
I don't know if you were there but imagine that feeling you had when he scored ... and then the goal being ruled out.

The next few minutes would have been horrible.

I was there, it was as pure a moment as life can give. VAR would have killed it

I'm not getting this. How have the rules changed?

A perfect illustration of why VAR is a killer of football.

Only it wouldn’t.

VAR isn’t used in the Championship. So the goal wouldn’t have been ruled out or even reviewed.

But it would stop van Nistelrooy cheating and helping to send us down.

Haha if you think the VAR official would have overruled the Van Nistelrooy penalty

Such a good point

In fact even if it had been given the fact that VAR existed hanging over it would have tempered it

I deliberately worded it if it was in use to stop some dull bore trying to post what you have, you still desperately did it anyway. Congrats on being that desperately boring

What do you get from being so aggressive?

This was a thoroughly good thread, and then you go and lose it.

In the 38 games in which ALB played in goal for us, we averaged 1.53 points per game which, had they been over the course of a single season, would have seen us challenging for the play offs. This at a time when we were otherwise struggling against relegation. Oh, and didn't Mick Mills have terrific posture.

I have to carefully word things to stop the same desperate responses repeatedly from some posters and then they still go ahead with the effort to catch me out and you put the blame on me? Interesting take
