So going forwards.... 16:02 - Mar 26 with 1571 views

If the L1 season is declared null and void, what does PL need to do for next season to make us serious contenders? The angst we had a couple of weeks back has subsided (well for me it has) and I really can't see ME getting rid of PL now especially how the Coronavirus has impacted on the financial side of the game. So it appears we're stuck with him. Would PL have learnt from his mistakes?

He's not going to do that, would you walk away from a 5 year contract? In a way, if the season is declared null and void, PL has got a get out of jail card, but he really needs to have a real hard look at his managerial approach and be prepared to adapt. The way the season was ending for us, I'm convinced this would've been his last managerial job, but has he got the appetite to want to change?

If his job is saved by virtue of a null and void season then he has to use lessons learnt this year and hope for luck on the injury front,

Build your team around a core of:

Holy, Wolf (if here), Garbutt (if here), KVY, Downes (if here), Huws, Lankester, Jackson, Norwood.

Buy a solid CB so that Chambers can be rotated and go from there.
