TWTD NHS Appreciation Thread 19:26 - Mar 26 with 1013 viewsKeno

I know there are a few NHS workers who post and probably a lot more who view so just a thought, in line with what else is proposed, how about a TWTD NHS Appreciation Thread.

Just to say thank you to our NHS staff

And all Supermarket workers. The amount of abuse they are getting at the moment is a disgrace.

My Wife works in one and has been reduced to tears a few times over the last couple of weeks. She is just doing her job and following company policies, which all supermarkets are following. There are some truly stupid/vile people out there.

I know. I think she and all her co-workers are doing a grand job, and I always try and remember to thank them.

Especially the charming young lady assistant who squirted on my hand outside Tesco the other day.

(For clarity's sake, she squirted hand sanitiser on me. For further clarity, the sanitiser was in a proper dispenser. For even further clarity, 'proper dispenser' isn't a euphemism).

This is the filthiest thing I've ever read on here. Well played.

Well said.

I've given my doctor sister a virtual hug and pat on the back (as she sits in isolation and tries to get over her own nasty bout of Covid-19). Now she's itching to get back to work and get cracking at the ExCel centre that she's volunteered for.

Meanwhile I picked up some groceries for an elderly neighbour so we're probably even.
