Takeaways 10:30 - Mar 28 with 2675 views | britbiker | Not had one yet since the lockdown and was thinking of doing so this weekend in order to save another meal at home. However I did my one local dog walk late last night and walked past the big brand local pizza shop. They are doing deliveries only, however the shop is small and there were four delivery drivers all collecting pizzas standing next to one another at the counter, plus at least six employees all working/baking within a few feet of each other. In fact I think it would have been nearly impossible for them to work without pushing past one another all night. Clearly doing good business but not taking any notice of the risk their employees are taking.
Takeaways on 10:33 - Mar 28 with 2645 views | footers | Warning: my egg fried rice came as plain boiled rice last night. We've all got to pull together to get through this, I know, but is this a step too far?

Takeaways on 11:52 - Mar 28 with 2491 views | Ftnfwest | Off to the curry shop tonight which has confirmed its doing takeaway. Not sure if they’ll leave it halfway down the restaurant to pick up? They do deliveries, but not quite to where we are.

You have to ask yourself, if they don't deliver to you, is it really an essential journey? Can you not just cook something at home?

The last takeaway I had was a Chinese which was cold and when delivered. It put me off takeaways for good. That was 5 years ago and I can honestly say that I haven't had one since. I don't miss them, enjoy cooking all my own meals, and know exactly what's in them!

Wash all the food (using soap and hot water) would be my advice.

Perfect. I'll bung a load of basmati in the 90 degree wash later then. Cheers.
