Apologies if this is old news or a surprise to anyone but the club are saying on twitter they're taking debits until further notice. Just in case any of you are in for a shock when you look at your bank account next.

Hi Max, currently the intention is that all remaining fixtures will be played. As a result of this, April's direct debit payment will be taken. Please note, due to the unprecedented circumstances, all is subject to change.

True, I make no judgement either way as they say the season is still officially going ahead. But likewise if people have fallen on hard times and this comes out too it makes life difficult doesn't it adding something else to the deficit?

Pfft.

I pay it all in one hit each renewal anyway. So if the club decide to stop taking payments, what then happens to those who pay in one hit who also want a refund?

I think for financial reasons alone, this season will be played to a finish. If that needs to be in the summer, so be it. Scrap all bar the FA Cup next season and there'll be time to fit everything, even if the season starts 4-6 weeks late.

I think the financial aspect will be very high in a lot of thoughts especially in the Premier League.

I don't think that they will be worrying too much whether it is fair or not scrapping the season what they will be worrying about is what will it cost them if they do.

Finishing 19/20 whenever it can be finished will always get my vote.

Tbh, I’d be happy to continue to pay for my ST, as this is the only way I can do “ my bit” for my Club and those that work for the Club, who have families just like us. Don’t forget our DD’ s help contribute towards staff wages ( those behind the scenes that are paid b u ger all )!

People make me laugh. What would you have done in the days when you had to pay it all upfront?

The club give people "interest free credit" (if you think the prices are hiked to cover this then that's your opinion!) and people are asking if their payment will be taken.

I believe this one in April is still for this season? The season hasn't ended yet or been cancelled so what do you expect the club to do.

I would have however thought they would stop it for when next seasons payments start.

I pay by DD and am quite happy for the club to continue to take mine although i understand that it might to harder for some . I cant remember is it done over 10 payments when will the last one come out and when would next seasons payments start ? Anyone on the ball .

How does that work with the club if you cancel your DD?

They won't chase you for money as not worth it from a PR point of view but may find yourself on a black list. If people really cannot afford it they should be contacting the club not just cancelling the DD - that is a poor move.

I'm pretty sure the club would ask for any missed payments when you come to renew for the next season.
