BBC newsreader George Alagiah has bowel cancer & coronavirus 21:47 - Mar 31 with 1074 viewsBloomBlue

But has now recovered from CV. That's hopeful I thought for people with cancer and/or oldies like me CV is a guaranteed one way ticket to the pearly gates.

Not necessarily. A friend's grandmother, elderly and unwell, caught it in hospital, tested positive, but never developed symptoms and is (relatively) fine.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Facters' youngest grandchild, who emigrated a few years ago is doing alright.

Thanks. I'm more worried about Mrs Bloom she's already at war fighting something similar to George Alagiah so the thought he recovered from CV gives me/us hope should she catch CV.
Don't get me wrong the medical people who have visited recently are great and taking lots of precautions but sometimes the stories are all doom and gloom
