Mentioned this earlier. Although the top players are sitting comfortably, there will be plenty of clubs at the bottom of the pyramid who won't be able to afford to pay players, and then those players won't be able to pay necessities like mortgages.
Probably compounded by a lot of players being the sole breadwinners if their other halves have to move regularly. |  |

You can put a cap on total club expenditure but I am not sure they have the power to implement an individual salary cap. The clubs need to implement that for themselves.
Leeds players are deferring their pay I believe and Messi is giving up 70% of his salary.

Do clubs put any Force Majeure type clause where wages can be cut in line with certain events?
Surely players are employees just as much as the next person.
As such the first people who should be furloughed as the players.
