Plan is to sit in the sunshine all day listening to the TMS commentary of that famous Headingley day last summer whilst reading Stokes’ autobiography with a cold beer in hand.

I was lucky enough to be at the ground that day so it’s going to be nice to relive what it was like to listen from home.

Actually we’ve done a 4 mile run along along the gorgeous Gower coast path (from home, no driving anywhere), weeded all the paths in our back garden, then cracked open a couple of bottles of Stella to celebrate in the evening sun. And now I’m making homemade burgers & chips for tea and about to open a bottle of plonk to help with that.

Life’s so much better under lockdown. Tbh, I feel guilty for everyone who’s working hard to keep us safe and put food in the shops.

I was going out but have decided to also stay in instead.

About to finish off some beef* I cooked a couple of days ago with some veg and gravy etc.

I've had a couple of lagers, because it was hot, now on the Ghost Ship, but do have some red wine for dinner too.

Homage to the village where I grew up....house next door to the White Horse, the one set way back from the road, not the handsome red brick

Cycled with Junior to the farm shop for veg, the pub for bread and then to Fram for groceries (about 10 miles)....life feels altogether more human at the moment.
On the rare occasion that a car passed us the fumes were noticeable in a way that 3 weeks ago they would not have been.
Planted up runner beans, sweet corn and French beans this evening and now a bottle or 2 of ESB and Broadside.....luvverly!
