Miss the pain of logging in to iFollow every Saturday morning. But really really miss coaching my son’s team. We’re shut down until April 30th at earliest but no doubt that will be extended. Won’t be surprised if we have no season at all. (Season supposed to start April 18 and run through first week of June) |

I'm not missing it. Truth be told I'd told my lot that if we lose against Fleetwood then my seasons over, then Corona hit. I would have done Bristol but only for the day out. I haven't enjoyed anything of this season, even when were top it was very unconvincing and then we got caught out. Call me a miserable git but its been the same as last season and no signs of an upturn in even being able to play semi competant football. |  | | |

Not missing the Premier League or Champions League, but I’m missing the hope, expectation, disappointment and post-mortem of Town games, the odd game on TV, other sports including cricket, NFL, athletics and golf.
In playing terms, my annual ski trip went ahead as normal before C-19 luckily, but I’m missing golf with my chums: - the full English breakfast (2x bacon, sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, fried egg, white toast and tea) followed by a good competitive hack in the sunshine, followed by a couple of beers. I don’t miss the football. I miss the drive down, the checking in to a hotel, walking along to meet people like Hoppy, BlueLagos, PJH, Pendjo when he makes it, Swailesy, and many many more.
I miss the delight in watching Seb run around with Yasmin.

I’ve had this conversation with a few now, and no, haven’t missed football one single jot. That’s a weird feeling because it’s been massive for me since my first game in ‘81. Maybe due to how Town have been over the past 4 years, maybe due to the money in the Prem, don’t know.
The Euro’s being moved would have been a disaster in the past, love a summer tournament, but don’t care.
The thing I miss hugely is my 2 boys football. I coach the younger one, and that’s hard to take. A winter of postponed games due to the horrible weather, now, nothing. |  | | |

After two decades of slow decline and the last couple years of new lows it's been surprisingly easy. And I've become more or less immune to the Premier League/Champions League circus over the same period too.

Was kinda grateful that it got cancelled, wasn’t much looking forward to going. Not missing Ipswich, not missing the premier league which I wasn’t following anyway, not missing the champions league and all the talking points people try to invent just to seem relevant.
I would have enjoyed watching the euros. International football in the summer is my favourite of all but as for the rest, don’t feel the need to hurry back!
To be honest, aside from being able to go out in my car without feeling like I’m moving about occupied Europe and being able to go on holiday, I’m not particularly fussed about this lockdown being lifted either. As much as I hate that word. |  | | |

I'm missing the Town games not being played and the connection I have with my Dad over our games (me watching on ifollow at midnight a few beers in and him at Portman Rd).
I'm not missing football more broadly, but then I hadn't watched the Premier League or Champions League in over 10 years. In many ways I hope this will be the ruination of the big money in football and other professional sports more broadly as I just can't relate to the cult of celebrity it has become and the obscene money in the game.
I am missing the Aussie Rules and will be very sad the English summer tests are unlikely to happen. | | | |

Not ITFC particularly - the Fleetwood game was so abysmal and finally brought me to accept just how utterly broken we are as a club and a team that it's been easier to accept.... although this break has saved Lambert's job.
I'm more missing all the bits that go with the wider package of football - whether it's watching games on tv, MOTD or even just looking up scores at the end of the evening if the wife and kids have seized control of the remote for the evening. |  |

I miss it badly. Not the 3pm - 5pm involving Ipswich but the part where you wake up and there's still the buzz of 'it's Saturday decent weather we're at home, finally we will turn it on today'. When this doesn't happen I enjoy the angry pints afterwards until you get to a nice drunk that you couldn't care less.
I miss doing accumalotors every week. I miss watching Jeff and the day's twists and turns. I miss generally talking about the latest saga or x goal to mates. I miss not playing Tuesdays.
Ahhhhh I miss it. But not 3pm - 5pm involving Ipswich! | |
