No Football in Germany Before 31 August For Spectators 18:29 - Apr 15 with 1079 viewsellerblue

We have just had our fortnightly covoid update, the outcome is no large gatherings before 31 Aug, including sports , music festivals, fairs etc, it might be that all matches will be played behind closed doors but definitely no fans, also all places of education closed until at least 3 may, pubs and resturants the same only change is shops of under 800 sq meters can reopen from Monday under certain safety measures , so anyone thinking of attending any sports fixtures in Germany forget it. Take care.

Not really surprising. There won't be big crowds for some time.

I still see people going on about it as if any day in the next couple of weeks the governments of the world will say “ALL DONE, BACK TO NORMAL” and that is that. They must be listening to Trump.

Even in the extremely unlikely event the virus suddenly dies off and everything is fine one day in the next 2 months, we’ve then got a global financial crisis to get through. There might not be as many music festivals and football clubs still around by the time “normal” arrives. And I use inverted commas because the definition of normal won’t be what it was 3 months ago.

I would be surprised if the government allow crowds to gather in average football crowd numbers or have away fans travelling the length of the country to see matches at least for the normal starting date of the season.

If we are using Germany's example as a measure, then we are looking way beyond that here.
