Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? 17:06 - Apr 21 with 5628 views | Lord_Lucan | And before anyone starts throwing things at me I fully appreciate some people are in awful situations, a point that I have often mentioned and I also fully appreciate that some people have lost loved ones and or are dead. But I have to say personally I'm finding it quite soothing at the moment.

I wish - they're all in Islington, but me being the family pauper, am not. Mrs Ullaa restarts work next week, so I expect the pressure will only build

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 18:35 - Apr 21 with 1630 views | Pendejo | Having been furloughed 4weeks ago, received a pay rise 1st March, and employer will be paying 100% of salary. All this on top of what has been excellent weather, having to look after elderly uncle's dog after he was hospitalised (not covid), getting plenty of exercise and doing charity volunteering, yes I've quite enjoyed the phoney war. However as pride comes before a fall, I'm sure someone near or dear will pass away and I will be exposed to the full horror. Elderly uncle now home, discharged himself as was bored in hospital, but is not well. He has been messing himself in his bed and I've been cleaning it up, however gag inducing this is I feel good in myself and am pleased to support my last living uncle.I

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 17:43 - Apr 21 by factual_blue | It's very nice, although I can see it might not be everybody's cup of tea. Leisurely morning, Bargain Hunt, hour or so in the garden, then a walk round the fields and footpaths. Watch a bit more Upstairs Downstairs (now half way through series five). Episode of QI. Bed |

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, certainly for the typical TWTD'er.

I'd try and say something witty but I haven't seen Bargain Hunt so don't really know what it is - although I assume it's people going to car boot sales and picking up valuables for a nicker

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 18:50 - Apr 21 with 1596 views | Ace_High1 | No the thought of missing out on a whole year of plans etc is not good! I am getting on fine at home, but had a load of actives planned for summer and the thought of waiting until 2021 to be back to normal is not great. [Post edited 21 Apr 2020 18:50]

Be positive mate. Being alive come 2021 will be good enough for me as things stand. Then new plans can be laid.

Well, obviously. I assume you're still addressing the really, really expensive present from both of us, as agreed. Despite refusing all my offers of a half/half contribution steadfastly with the added caveat that you wouldn't change your mind under any circumstances.

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 20:31 - Apr 21 with 1493 views | Melford | Same here, there's nothing I can do to help the fight other than stay at home. I live out the way. next to a big field where nobody ever comes, even now. I have no neighbours so I can crank the guitar up loud. I spent the last 3 weeks decorating my house top to bottom which I never would have done otherwise. Weed supplies continue as usual.

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 20:50 - Apr 21 with 1482 views | ghostofescobar | I’ve always been someone who is comfortable with my own company and I do suffer with some social anxiety, so it’s not all bad. The flip side is that it’s making me withdraw to far into my comfort zone, so I’m sure it will take me a while to get my confidence back when things lift.

Is anyone else actually quite enjoying this lockdown or am I a weirdo? on 21:03 - Apr 21 with 1468 views | itfcjoe | Personally I am, enjoying a break from constantly thinking about work and being drained from it. It’s quite relaxing and even though hard work with young kids they are both of an age where they are just happy to spend time with me and not worry that they aren’t able to do x, y or z. I’m fortunate that my major outgoings have been cancelled so no real financial worries or panic re the other side of this. I’ve got a lot of studying to do for my degree as in final year, and a few work bits I need to get on top off for my own piece of mind. But just need to do it, and not waste this once in a lifetime opportunity and keep fingers crossed that death count doesn’t get too high and affect me directly in a selfish manner
