Yes I get that but the daily press conference is across most tv outlets so why not sky or itv first?

In what way are they biassed?

I think they are bias towards the left. But the question was geniune. Do they film it and give permissions to other broadcasters?

What's your evidence for alleged bias?

I don't know the answer to your second question, but as a public service broadcaster and the programme is news, I would think it it made freely available.

You are wrong, look at the make up of the people in charge of their news output

Whilst the creative media coming out of the BBC is made by more left wing leaning creatives

It was obvious during the Brexit campaign that the focus was always on remainers rather than leavers. FWIW I actually thought highly of politicians like Soubry. Whilst I disagred with her views, I admire a politician fighting their corner which she and others always did.

It's irrelevant really as the vast majority of our media is useless.

If the media is a platform for democracy we are gradually being screwed.

Recently all arms of the media have been shockingly poor.

In what ways was it 'obvious'? Do you have any evidence that, for example, the amount of time devoted to one side or the other was disproportionate?

Do you think it is part of the BBC's role to check the accuracy of politicians' statements, and bring any inaccuracies in those statements to public attention, be they accidental errors or deliberate attempts to mislead?

Personally, I take the view that if idiots from both sides of the divide think they're biased then they've probably got their balance about right...

Ok it's an opinion and I'm not in a position to trawl through statistics. As for media and tv holding policticians to account, I think they do try up to the point where if they carried on with a particular line of question then it could almost turn in a slanging match. For example Emma Barnett on 5 live this morning asked a politician if medics should refuse to work without PPE, the politician simply would not give a straight answer.

I fear what the OP may be referring to is the Beeb's tiresome insistence on relying on facts, unlike the 'leave' campaign.

Perhaps you'll have the good sense to correct the statement 'biased broadcasting corporation' in your OP. It is, after all, the British Broadcasting Corporation, so why no just call it that?
Your statement is, apart from anything else, potentially libellous and could land Phil (and you) in hot water.

I’m sure the BBC are too busy to really care about the ramblings if a tinpot poster on a L1 football forum. But that’s enough about me - the OP was taking rubbish and has offered nothing to backup his claims.

Did you consider Brexit a purely Left vs Right issue then?

Do you think some people voted that way, thinking the same, say out of spite with the only intention of 'getting one over' on other people with no real interest in the subject or possible consequences?
