Good man Zombie,I like it
25 years later.
That's a great lead in to the song. For reasons that may or may not become apparent I was researching, i.e. looking up on Wikipedia, where Horslips came from - I was convinced they were all from the Cooley Peninsula but it turns out they are all Dubs or thereabouts, except for Charles O'Connor who was born in Middlesborough! Explains his terseness I guess.

The reason they are in Dingle, Co. Kerry is that the Other Voices TV series venue was in Church of St James’s. This active Anglican church was deteriorating and needed funds for renovations so the Rev Phyllis Jones, Minister of the church opened it up to the public as a community centre and music venue. John Kelly who was the presenter of Other Voices was the person messing with the two lads in the beginning. There were some superb gigs in that series which extended over many years.
Horslips were a rock band with traditional Irish influences, Moving Hearts were a traditional group with pop influences. The Hearts were distinguished by the uilleann pipes of Davy Spillane but had an eclectic collection of creative Irish musicians. https://www.rte.ie/culture/2020/0317/1123769-strings-attached-moving-hearts-the-

I have no way of knowing if that is Nicky Hopkins at his most technically brilliant but I do think it is his most evocative piece. And here's Keith Tippett playing on another evocative piece of music
