The flipping village green police. My wife and kids were out for a walk the other day and got yelled at and threatened by the chap over the way for walking near, not on or through, but near the children's play area.

That and the dirty looks we get as we go on our daily walk as a family. One guy even walked past further than 2m and kept stopping and looking back at us in disbelief.

Due to the amount of spare time on their hands, it appears that everyone on my street has taken up DIY and hi intensity cleaning.

So whilst being outside in this calm time should be peaceful, in reality it is a relentless whine of powertools, jetwashers and lawnmowers. Genuinely winding me the fook up.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

My wife telling me all the villages gossip, I don't care who's knocking who off, or how many times families walk past during the day and her nosing out of the window wondering why the neighbours are getting a delivery from a supermarket every other day.

The only time I paid any notice was when she mentioned somebody who has had a boob job (and yes I do always have a sneaky look when she walks her dog past our house)

Up and mainly down, following Town since 88
