Make sure you keep an eye on your parents during this pandemic. 16:02 - May 4 with 1079 viewsBrixtonBlue

Apparently mine had a go on the fixed exercise equipment in the local park on one of their walks, before realising it was actually out of bounds, and then doing a runner.

They're 75 and 83.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

That reminds me of a letter in the Star from decades ago which I can always recall.

"Today me and my friend went to see Father Christmas at the Co-op in Carr Street. He let us sit on his knee and asked if we had been good girls and we told him we had.

I am 74, and my friend is 77."

Surely this is practically ASBO territory.

Joking aside, I hope you drummed it into them about the virus being able to stick to that equipment for quite some time.

If they can access it then you can be sure others have.

They weren't proud, well my mum who I spoke to wasn't. I'm a little bit proud myself to be honest though, given their age.

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

My brother had already had a go at them by the time Mum told me, so I just said I hope they washed their hands afterwards. She said they just didn't think, which is fair enough, they are pretty old!

Aren't the over 70's supposed to be staying inside anyway or has the advice changed?

I'm not aware that's ever been the case has it? They have a pensioners hour at Tescos so that would be a bit difficult.

I think you're right, it was certainly discussed back in March but not implemented. I think it was only people who got letters in the end.

OK.

Am I allowed to go as far from Suffolk as Streatham Crematorium though?
The one at Risby is probably OK, but Streatham.....

Mavis - "Doctor, Cyril and I aren't enjoying sex as much as we used to"

Doctor - "Really. How old are you both, if you don't mind me asking?"

Mavis - "Well Cyril is 87 and I'm 93"

Doctor - "87 and 93, and you don't enjoy sex as much as you used to! Tell me, when did you first notice this?"

Mavis - "Twice last night, and then again this morning."

Ageist.

You need to enforce the site's terms and conditions Phil. This sort of flagrant abuse must stop.
