'Conservative MP Mark Pritchard, who represents the Wrekin in Shropshire - the home county of the original television gardener Percy Thrower - raised the issue at Prime Minister's Questions recently.
The Thrower family were from the Felixstowe area, and Percy's father worked as a gardener for the Quilter family at Bawdsey Manor.
Percy's father moved to Buckinghamshire to be gardener for Quilter's daughter when she married. He then worked for Leeds Council, Derby Council, and the Royal Family before ending up in Shrewsbury.
It certainly isn't his home county.
