Wow, that is some Witch hunt. 10:10 - May 17 with 18322 viewsPecker

Firstly I would like to start by saying that my Wife and I still have no symptoms. Thanks to those for their kind words. Now, I shall begin. Please bare with me, as I shall be telling you stuff that I never thought I would be.
I gave a positive test on Thursday. I was told this on Friday .
I have been tested for the last couple of weeks or so, as has my Daughter, who works as a Nurse at Ipswich General. Why have we both been tested when others haven't? We applied for testing because of our home life. I asked Badger if he had applied, you can check back if you wish. The reason we both applied are as follows.

Firstly, my Daughter is pregnant with her second child. She shouldn't be putting herself in harms way, but she told her ward manager that she wanted to carry on in these difficult times and she agreed as long as my Daughter took a daily test. I do not know if this is across the board or not, but my Daughter is tested daily, because she applied to be. If others are not, then I do not have an answer for that. Take it up with those who decide such things. She has recently split up with her abusive Husband and now lives back at home with us.

Secondly, Me. I have 3 Daughters. 2 have I mentioned on here before. 1 is a Nurse, you know that already. 1 is in finance. She make wealthy people wealthier. My 3rd daughter has Rett Syndrome. This is a severe form of Autism, or not depending on the department you deal with. Basically, my Daughter has been confined to one room in our house all her life. She has no idea who She is or what is going on. Different children develop different symptoms. Unfortunately my daughter has the severe sort and can do nothing for herself. My Wife and I look after her at different times of the day and we have a carer who helps us. She is an absolute angel with my Daughter and we couldn't have her at home without her help. I will let those of you who want to, look up Rett Syndrome for yourself.

As I hope you can appreciate, my home life is extremely complicated. I have 3 wonderful Daughters and an amazing Wife. Football is my only realise from this, so that is why I joined this forum. I never thought my life would be aired in this way, but there you go. I haven't gone into full detail here, as that would be even long winded than this one is. I am sure there will be some who will try and pick the bones out of this also. So be it.

I hope that clears some of it up for you. Like I have said, I haven't gone into full detail as this would take up even more of your time. For those of you who want to pick the bones out of this one, then please carry on. Believe or not, I shall leave it up to you.

All a bit strange.

I sort of swing from not being interested to feeling obliged to point out that some sticking a boot into footers should either consider all angles or shut the f up and mind their own business altogether.

Pecker has deliberately tried to stir for Footers recently so where were they then and if they weren't interested, which is fine, then they should have nothing to say now.

Not hard is it.

Can't see anything in your post I'd disagree with.

Probably why we're mates.

If I had to put money on it I would bet that Footers has received many a supportive PM about this by posters who don't want to get involved with the argument in this thread and end up with a target on their back.

You are on the money there, Spruce. Many correspondents have been in touch with very supportive PMs (Thank you all, by the way- most encouraging). They too question his account from first-hand experience and general observations about Pecker's posts on this matter. It cuts deep when you know people on the frontline. And to add to that, quite a few are first-time correspondents and, indeed, people who've exchanged strong words yours truly in the past. For them to back me on this is encouraging.

However, quite a few have also said they'd come out in support publically but are afraid of board reprisals. As my stock is already at its lowest, I have nowt to fear. People hated Jesus because he told the truth. So I am not alone.

But I think you and jeera are also right that some posters in particular aren't really bothered about getting to the bottom of someone potentially lying about catching covid-19. No, they're simply more interested in dear old footers and sticking the boot in. Shame.

Indeed. I'd take their definition of 'new' with a pinch of salt. Grimboy was a 'new' poster when he came back. So was 'Pickles' and God knows how many times Benters has been a 'new' poster.

I wonder why they keep coming back, when half their posts are about how terrible this forum is?

Oh, what a tangled web we weave when we practise to deceive: A brief history of Pecker’s porkies

As I mentioned on yesterday’s thread, I am the board’s resident expert on Pecker. I have been following his antics closely for some time, which is why I’m so confident in my assertion that he’s talking bollcks.

Now, most of you will only have a passing interest in Pecker as this is a busy place and you are busy people, so you may not be fully aware of his fibbing history.

If the evidence posted yesterday didn’t persuade you of his duplicity, perhaps this will.
For the sake of brevity, I won’t post the links to the threads in question but will use the exact quotes used by Pecker.

As a diehard Town fan, Pecker’s been to lots of games, home and away. His first away game was “Newcastle February 1978”. Very well remembered, Pecker! But what he actually meant by that was the FA Cup final, apparently.

Pecker claims to have spent three years living as an expat in Lorca, Spain. (“I lived in Spain for 3 years.”) He states this three times. This is slightly odd since he’s also “lived in Suffolk all [his] life.”

Pecker’s family is very important to him. He has one grandson (daughter expecting her second now, obviously). And my, don’t they grow up fast! On the first of February last year, Pecker says he is old enough to have grandchildren but implies that isn’t the case yet, “old enough to have Grand children now.” But just 13 days later, he has a grandson who has started going to away games. And as it’s his only grandchild, it must be the same one who is now two years old in March and was the cause of him injuring his shoulder.

Pecker states he only has two daughters, but as of today he has a third. “Both my daughters have been to Uni though. My eldest did art and photography, now works in finance management. My youngest did medicine and is now clinical lead in A&E.”

Ah, the daughter who’s a nurse. Is this the same daughter who “passed he uni degree end of January [2020] and started in Ipswich general mid Feb” or another one who was working at Ipswich hospital last March (the one he wanted J2 to marry)?

Forgetting a family member would be a terrible thing to do. But oh look, Pecker’s also got a son. “My boy is obsessed with maps and atlas'. His bedroom walls are completely covered in maps of the world past and present.” Funny that he doesn’t warrant a mention in today’s OP.

Allow me to finish with a final quote that sums up my position on the matter. “This is a very real threat to an awful lot of people and if you want to make light of it, then you carry on, but don't be surprised if some find it in bad taste.”

I know some of you will be keen to leap to Pecker’s defence and jump through hoops to maintain he’s just very forgetful or something, but this expose coupled with the evidence provided yesterday should be enough to persuade you that Pecker is a habitual fibber, and this lie was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I was thinking what the next twist might be, and wondered if the amount of kids he has was the thing he'd get pulled up on.

Lucky you - I know of nobody else given daily tests. Given that there are allegedly 9 million essential workers and the capacity is well below 100,000 daily tests you are rather lucky to be in your position.

And if your daughter is making rich people richer at the moment she knows more than most as the crash in the markets has made most rich people a lot poorer - though these things are relative

I honestly think you should seek help. This isn't the first time you have obsessed over a poster you disagree with, and gone to extraordinary lengths to discredit them.

Has his twitter feed and newspaper articles featuring his seven year old son been shared around the "bumfest" this time? Or does pecker practice better "social media hygiene" than some of us.

I'll let you in on something too, Dollers. The fact that this new daughter apparently has Rett syndome also touched a nerve with me. Why? Because I'm the court appointed deputy in charge of my severely mentally and physically disabled uncle's finances and wellbeing. He's essentially a 56-year-old man who's had the mind of an 18-month-old child since, well, 18 months. He required round the clock care from two live-in carers at all times and I've spent the last two years fighting his housing and motability issues.

Now, given the number of fabrications Pecker has produced, I'd be fcking angry if this turned out to be a lie too. I mean, he did forget on a few occasions that a third daughter existed but I suppose that's understandable.
