I don't think Lambert is likely to improve us, but given the huge financial uncertainty overhanging the whole Football League, I wouldn't sack him right now.

If there's any truth in the rumours that the contract has get out clauses should we miss the playoffs surely it would make more sense to wait until that is confirmed as the case rather than sack him now and have to pay off the whole contract.
Although I'm not overly for or against sacking him, I kind of think he's a busted flush but at the same time I can't see us employing anyone much better given Evans' 1 in 5 record so far.

i guess his legal team "could" argue we had a chance to make the playoffs if season hadn't been cancelled? we all know we wouldn't have, but it could go that way if things got ugly
