What is "100% financial support"?
Why should clubs who will already struggle to meet their commitments to wages given the absence of match day income & uncertain future income, subsidise other clubs?
Surely this is a time for a huge re-set in player salaries. The problems in the Football league are harder to work around as TV income is such a smaller part of their revenue, but no reason for the PL to subsidise them, especially as they seem incapable of playing behind closed doors (whether that is right or wrong). |  |
