I wouldn't call this a climbdown as such, because we are talking about health here. But this now says that measures will come into effect on the 15th of June.

1/4 of Year 10 and 12 pupils will be allowed in at any given time, therefore will this mean am and pm sessions? Selected days? This will provide logistical challenges beyond the obvious need for disease control and social distancing.

There is no guidance here which considers the exposure of staff in terms of time and numbers, as presumably that will be a judgement call for senior staff based on what it says here. That may see more anti-union/teacher headlines after the Cummings days.
