Have you been trying to recreate the moment ever since?

Similar.

After the game ended up in an Aussie bar. Was wandering around Waterloo station about 7am with an early Eurostar back home, still wearing the Town shirt, people staring/laughing at me.

Made it to the office for afternoon meeting.

Still have the Guardian from that day. Their report summed it up. https://amp.theguardian.com/football/2000/may/30/newsstory.sport4

I didnt make it to work. When I went in the next day I was called in to say why wasn't I at work by the GM because my boss was on holiday. I pointed out that I was clearly far too hungover and he pointed out that I hadn't booked holiday and it was left a bit frosty. My boss returned the following day and the GM spoke to him about it but my boss said of course I didn't expect him to come in if they won. He said he would have done exactly the same

It seems what they lack in eyes, they make up for in fingers.

'It has taken five years, 401 points and enough tears to irrigate most of East Anglia but Ipswich are back in the Premiership at last. Even the most one-eyed Norwich City supporter might grudgingly accept that they deserve it.'

I had to go in, I turned up 6 hours late when I queued up at Portman Road for my ticket.
