Who is the best... fictional dog? on 13:09 - Jun 8 by LankHenners
No Gromit?
And yet the foul beast Scrappy Doo worms his way onto the list.
To tell you the truth, Lankers, I just thought the board could do with a few more arguments. We've covered BLM etc extensively*, so thought the ever-contentious 'Best fictional dog' thread might spice things up.
And it seems my choices have already ruffled some feathers...
*Edited for, ahem, poor choice of words...

'We've done BLM etc to death' - really not your best choice of words, young man.

Well it's contentious alright.
The introduction of Scrappy Doo was another ploy by the bastard Fred Jones to distract Scooby and Shaggy whilst he had his way with Velma and Daphne under the pretense of 'looking for ghosts'. Probably kept his stupid tie on while he was doing it as well the sick perv.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

May be in a minority here, but I never liked Scooby Doo as a kid (or an adult). Same goes for Tom and Jerry.
This added sexual element only confirms my opinion.
