Has anyone got any good ideas for games for a Zoom team meeting 12:21 - Jun 17 with 1859 viewsN2_Blue

Need to arrange something for a Zoom team meeting. We've done a few quizzes, bingo and guess who, so need something a bit different as really don't want to do another quiz.

Only needs to be short 10-15 mins or so.

On the BBC website the other week was a story from a woman who decided to surprise her husband while he was on a Zoom call from worked.

She went into the study. He was facing her with the computer screen between them.

She pulled her top up and flashed her boobs, although she said she gave them a good wiggle for several minutes.

Then she remembered there was a big mirror behind her husband, and her antics had been seen by the entire meeting.

countdown, there are word and number generators on line and a scrabble set can be used for people to pick the letters.

From the EXCELLENT Elis James & John Robins Show, they have a feature called Made Up Games.

https://playamadeupgame.com/list

The premise is pretty simple, and is largely accessible to all because it doesn't in the main require a lot of prior knowledge.

An example of one I did successfully was 'Ooo, what's the weather like?' ( https://playamadeupgame.com/list?id=101) - could be a select few people to take centre stage, or everyone is invited to play. You give a city, then everyone guesses the temperature and current weather type (sunny, overcast etc). Point for every degree out, -1 for the correct type, lowest score at the end wins.

Slightly trickier to administer in the small timeframe is '55' ( https://playamadeupgame.com/list?id=144)

We play Psych! Download the app and then try and spoof each other. It’s a sort of electronic call my bluff. It’s been good for team socials during lockdown.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Whack-a-rabbit...

You have one person whacking and everyone else off camera. When the others come into view, the whacker says their name and they have to disappear again. The winner is the one with the most number of whacks in a specified time.

(Can also be played with mirroring the participants - ie, when they come into view they're doing some action and the whacker has to copy that action to get them to disappear, OR alternatively when they come onto screen, holding up a random object, and the whacker has to name the object to get them to disappear again)
