I overheard a tip today while in the queue at a butchers in Newmarket today, Perfect Inch in the 4:25 at Newmarket, "worth a tenner" was the remark. No idea who they were or how well connected or informed they were. Jockey in all yellow is a problem as always and a predicted 2/1 sp means not a great return for your money either.

The fact that a town full of horses is also renowned for sausages has always been of great concern to me.

As has the fact that the joint forces dog training centre is near Melton Mowbray.

Pigs were used to calm down a horse in his box if they were a bit "lively" in the past, nothing wrong with horse meat, used far more in cheap burgers and mince than food producers would like you to know about.
